Eréndira “Ere” Rendon, Vice President, Immigration Advocacy, joined The Resurrection Project (TRP) in July 2010. Ere has served as the organization’s lead strategist and manager on local campaigns impacting the lives of immigrants. Ere has played a leading role in the successful passage of many pro-immigrant legislations including Driver’s Licenses for the undocumented, the renewal of All Kids Health Program, the Chicago Legal Protection Fund, and the Illinois Access to Justice Program. Ere is a DACAmented immigrant from Oaxaca, Mexico. Thanks to Illinois’ in-state tuition law that passed in 2003, Ere was part of the first class of undocumented students to graduate from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
