Chicagoans without a high school diploma can take advantage of the Career Grow Chicago program with Career Bridge courses at City Colleges locations across Chicago. 

With the Career Bridge program, you will improve your English and/or prepare to take the GED®/HiSET® while earning a credential to employment at the following colleges:

  • Daley College: Community Health Worker – Bilingual (English/Spanish)*; Construction; Early Childhood Education; and Manufacturing
  • Kennedy-King College: Early Childhood Education; Culinary & Hospitality (English and Spanish cohorts)*; Construction; Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning*; and Information Technology*
  • Malcolm X College: Basic Nursing Assistant; Community Health Worker (English only cohort); Construction; and Early School Leaver Programming
  • Olive-Harvey College: Basic Nursing Assistant; Construction; Early Childhood Education; and Supply Chain and Transportation Technology (CDL-B and Forklift certifications)
  • Truman College: Construction and Early Childhood Education
  • Wright College: Basic Nursing Assistant; Construction; Information Technology*; and Manufacturing
