If you’re ready to begin your college journey, you can take advantage of a Class Starter Bundle. Classes in these bundles can get you started on a specific career path or you can stick with general education credits while you decide what you want to do.

And the bonus?

When you stay enrolled in at least 6 credit hours throughout the semester, you will get a $400 grant in your student account to help you to keep going.

Designed to maximize transferability to a four-year university*

Starter Bundle (2 classes)

Any English and any math class

These foundational courses are required for most programs.

Starter Plus (3 classes)

• Health Starter Bundle – Get a head start on your healthcare degree or certificate.

Any English class, any math class, and any biology class

• Business Starter Bundle – Start building the foundation you need for a successful career in the business world.

Any English class, any math class, and any business class

• Liberal Arts Bundle – A wide variety of liberal arts courses means you have lots of choices as you work toward your degree.

Any English, any math, and any general education class

*Note: Some lower-level math and English classes may not transfer to other colleges and universities.

Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI)

City Colleges of Chicago is part of the Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI) which means that any IAI class at City Colleges will transfer into any public university in Illinois. You can see a list of IAI classes here.
