Advancing Opportunities for Women in STEM (AOWS), funded by the Department of Defense (DoD), was designed to prepare students for a career in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) field. Program participants were part of a community of like-minded individuals who shared an interest in STEM. The grant for the program ended on Saturday, September 14. We encourage anyone interested in STEM as a career to apply for an associate in science degree.
