The Harry S Truman Cosmetology Department invites you to join our Cosmetology Exam Prep Boot Camp! The three-day boot camp covers everything you need to know to pass the Illinois State Board exam and more.

The Cosmetology Licensure Exam Prep Boot Camp is an intensive overview of topics covered on the Illinois Cosmetology State Board exam. The class reviews critical concepts and theories that students would have studied during their cosmetology coursework, with a goal of boosting student confidence and preparing them to pass the exam. The boot camp’s concentrated nature is an effective refresher for anyone who is considering taking the Illinois State Board licensure exam.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this program, students will be better prepared to take the Illinois State Board exam for Cosmetology licensure.

Class Information

Upcoming Class Dates: May 15, 16, and 17, 2023

Class meets on Monday,  Tuesday, and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Cost: $40 (free for Future Ready-eligible students)

Location: in person, Technical Center building
