The Deloitte Foundation has partnered with the City Colleges of Chicago Foundation to provide scholarships for racially and ethnically diverse students working towards majors/degrees in accounting, business, or STEM (i.e., information systems, information technology, computer science, data science, data analytics, and/or other STEM disciplines relevant to professional services).

About the award

  • The scholarship award is $1,000 for the Spring 2023 semester.
  • Scholarship funds are applied to tuition, books and other education supports that will assist in the completion of credentials at CCC.
  • Scholarship funds will be refundable to students.
  • Scholarship funds are not renewable.

Who can apply?

  • Students who are enrolled in City Colleges of Chicago with Harold Washington College as their assigned home campus
  • Students pursuing a major/degree in accounting, business, STEM or another relevant discipline
  • Students must be in good academic standing and demonstrate academic and leadership excellence
  • Students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Students must have completed a current FAFSA or RISE application
  • Students must demonstrate financial need
  • Students must complete the scholarship application and required essay

How recipients are selected?

Deloitte Foundation Scholars will be evaluated and selected by a review committee on the basis of financial need, academic record, and the essay on impact and goals. The number of scholarships awarded will be contingent on available funds. Additional information may be required from candidates upon request
